Debi Lerma has over fifteen years of operational experience. Before forming Optivest Properties with Mark Van Mourick, Warren Allan and Stephen Hayes, she worked for ten years in the self storage property management industry, first with The Call Company, and then later with Platinum Storage. As Director of Operations her experience helped grow Platinum Storage from 17 managed properties to more than 65 and into one of the nations top storage operators.

As Director of Operations, Debi executed all corporate standards, policies and procedures to over 65 contractual and corporate-owned storage facilities encompassing a team of over 150 site managers and related staff. Prior to her position in operations, Debi headed up the Accounting Team and was the Office Manager.

As Vice President of Operations at Optivest Properties, Debi oversees the operational and financial performance of the storage sites and directly interfaces with the Property Owners, Regional Managers, Corporate Accounting and Support Staff. She also sets all policies and ensures full compliance in areas of Human Resources, Accounting, and Storage Legal Practices.
